Questions about cumulative success and live birth

Cumulative success considers not only the first embryo transfer, but also the outcomes of subsequent transfers within the defined treatment journey. In this dataset, cumulative positive pregnancy is assessed after a maximum of 3 ETs.

The first transfer reflects only the outcome of the first embryo transfer. A cumulative rate may include subsequent transfers during the treatment journey and can therefore show a higher overall outcome.

In the Donor group, first-transfer positive pregnancy is 77%, while cumulative positive pregnancy after a maximum of 3 ETs is 90.7%.

In the IVF group, first-transfer positive pregnancy is 72.7%, while cumulative positive pregnancy after a maximum of 3 ETs is 89.7%.
